Summer is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing, it’s time for baseball season! Independence League Baseball is excited to announce its 2024 schedule, featuring 52 games for each member team that are sure to be filled with action, excitement, and fun.
This year, we have two new travel teams joining the league, Bison Baseball & Plainsmen Baseball. These two teams are sure to bring some extra heat to the field and we can’t wait to see them in action. They join the Casper Spuds (Casper, WY), Fremont Moo (Fremont, NE), Hastings Sodbusters (Hastings, NE), Oahe Zap (Pierre, SD), Spearfish Sasquatch (Spearfish, SD) and Nebraska Prospects (Travel Team) for the 2024 Independence League Baseball season.
Opening Day is set for May 23rd, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, which means you can kick off the summer with some exciting baseball. The season continues through Father’s Day and Independence Day, making it the perfect way to celebrate the summer holidays with friends and family. The regular season will conclude on July 28th and be followed by a five game series to crown the 2024 iLB Champion.
Independence League Baseball is made up of talented players who love the game of baseball and are dedicated to providing an exciting, family friendly, and competitive experience for fans. With so many great teams to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
