Summer is just around the corner and that can only mean one thing, it’s time for baseball season! Independence League Baseball is excited to announce its 2023 schedule, featuring 57 games that are sure to be filled with action, excitement, and fun.
This year, we have two new teams joining the league, the Oahe Zap from Pierre, South Dakota, and a travel team, the Sawtooth Sockeyes from Boise, Idaho. These two teams are sure to bring some extra heat to the field and we can’t wait to see them in action. They join the Badlands Big Sticks (Dickinson, ND), Casper Spuds (Casper, WY), Fremont Moo (Fremont, NE), Hastings Sodbusters (Hastings, NE), Spearfish Sasquatch (Spearfish, SD) and Nebraska Prospects (Travel Team) for the 2023 Independence League Baseball season.
Opening Day is set for May 23rd, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, which means you can kick off the summer with some exciting baseball. The season continues through Father’s Day and Independence Day, making it the perfect way to celebrate the summer holidays with friends and family.
Independence League Baseball is made up of talented players who love the game of baseball and are dedicated to providing an exciting, family friendly, and competitive experience for fans. With so many great teams to choose from, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
